In our fast-paced paced and rapidly changing world we can feel disconnected from our true selves. Almost without knowing it, we can forego the guiding force of our inner voice and the clarity of thought it provides.

We can feel unempowered, frustrated, unhappy, and alone. Instead of listening to our truths our spirit is suffering, and we might feel like there’s no way out. We forget that the truth lies within us and is just waiting for us. The self-created power to live our lives in clarity is just waiting for us to discover our connection with the universe. Without clarity our lives are half-lived and often filled with regret.

I’ve always believed that words have spirit and should be chosen wisely in our innermost thoughts and spoken words. Using the right words and consciously making better choices is how I create wisdom and greater clarity. Words have energy and spirit and often their meanings are in alignment with how we feel when we think about ourselves..

As humans we can find our greatest power when we understand the importance of clarity and free thinking for our momentum and well-being. We can find great reserves of strength when we consciously believe we can create the world that we want to live in.

It’s undeniable that the ability to think more clearly is a more peaceful and happier state of mind. It’s when we are both coherent and intelligible. A mindset for clarity promotes a higher level of thinking and the impetus for being our best. Throughout time, clarity has been used to describe our lives with wonder. Many centuries ago, the word “clarte” emerged in the French language and was used to describe brightness, glory, and splendor.

CLARITY IS LIFE

There are times in all of our lives when we feel vulnerable, our minds are confused, and unclear. We can feel adrift or barely moving, and we’re missing our connections.  It’s in these times of strife and stress that our judgment is often at peril. It’s when we are more likely to make emotionally based and poorly thought-out decisions. Often it’s the lack of clarity and self-awareness that causes us to make our biggest mistakes.  When we can't see the life that’s in front of us we will never see our lives clearly. We will never be truly happy.

In these last few years of chaos, shutdowns, and rebuilding we often feel stuck in the past pre-Covid versions of ourselves. Due to the circumstances most of us were unprepared. We allowed fear to take over our hearts and diminish our experience with fear and doubt. In the blink of an eye the picture and scope of our lives was made smaller, and we were left without the ability to dream of a better life on the other side.

As humans we are naturally resilient and each of us has our inherent powers and strengths. When we learn to see ourselves for who we are we can be capable beyond our knowledge. We can be pushed to our limit and still grow and redefine ourselves. With clarity we can better understand suffering and its lessons. We can stop being victims and participate in our lives and choices. We can create new lives when we begin to see the power within.

Clarity is a gift that only we can offer to ourselves. It’s the honesty to see our lives and thoughts more clearly and the ability to forgive and find meaning in our transgressions. It’s how we gain self-discipline through our authenticity and the ability to recognize our needs and intentions.

We find clarity when we can look back and examine our actions. How have they helped or hurt us in life’s momentum?

As The Happiness Warrior, I seek clarity in all thoughts and actions. It’s a core value that I believe is the best way to live. My dream is to create a happier world where all of us can be seen and heard. A place where we are equals and live in a state of empathy and understanding. We can do this by sharing our happiness and drawing others in. We can be clearer and more precise with our words and release them with clarity and understanding. With a mindset for clarity, we can be better every day.

FINDING OUT FOR OURSELVES

Clarity hasn’t always been a constant in my life. At some point in my early years, I took a wrong turn and I was often disappointed and dishonest with myself. I built defensive barriers and didn’t always live up to the expectations of others. My relationships were rocky. My friendships were with similar types of people who were struggling with their own lives. The circumstances weren’t always ideal for personal growth and development, and I lived my life on the edge.

Brutal honesty with ourselves is not always easy and we have plenty of distractions and detractions. Once the door is opened it’s impossible to turn back. Clarity opens our lives and enhances our human experience. The journey can be magical when we love ourselves for who we are.

Seeking clarity involves recognizing that our beliefs and assumptions may not be universally applicable or true for everyone.

CERTAINTY IS NOT CLARITY

Embracing uncertainty can be both liberating and life-affirming. Follow a “ready for anything” mindset and our happiness will always rise. When we believe that things are certain or destined to be happy we begin to live our lives for someone else. We accept fate before it happens and forget that we have choices in our lives. The path is always open for interpretation when we can listen to our inner voice and know who we really are. We can choose to be “ready for anything” and live in more freedom and less fear. We can shake the darkness away when we can look at ourselves with clarity and empathy for ourselves.

Certain outcomes rarely exist and are virtually impossible to forecast or predict. Nothing is ever certain until we experience it in the present. We can look at the past as a lesson and not a determinator. We can adopt a mindset that things might be better than we imagined as long as we are happy with who we are now in the present.

PERSPECTIVE

In order to live the life of our dreams, clarity is needed to avoid confusion and be prepared for whatever comes in our lives. We can do this when we believe that we deserve a better life and will do what it takes to make it happen.

Clarity starts when we understand perspective and our co-existence with others in our lives with different histories and experiences. Facts before feelings and the truth will always rise. We gain clarity for ourselves when we are able to be more forgiving and understanding of others.

Clarity is the ability to navigate through life’s chaos. Clarity helps us to be happier and better understand ourselves.

REDEFINING OUR PATH

Clarity is the precursor to success in every endeavor. When we are clear about our objective and intention we can better communicate our needs to others. We can achieve more, accomplish more, and bring others together.

Clarity creates wisdom and helps reshape our thoughts and intentions. Passion and momentum will rise, and we will be able to love ourselves and others more fully. It helps us become the best version of ourselves!

CLARITY IS A CHOICE

I grew up in the South in a different era when clarity and authenticity often looked like defects of character and outside the norm. Those who were different in even the smallest detail would often be shamed, ridiculed, or shunned. There was no place for dissent and much of what others were thinking went unsaid. There was a safety in conformity but a great deal of personal dishonesty and unrealized self-contempt.

Choices can be very difficult in a more closed society and what might seem like an easy choice can be filled with doubt and regret. It takes courage and conviction, and many others have led the way and created much needed change. We are better together when we have more empathy as a whole. We can do so much more with our lives when we make the right choice. Always remember that you can’t judge someone else until you can look yourself in the eye.

We can only rise when learn to trust and know ourselves better. Clarity is the way to a brighter and shinier future!
