Las Vegas Opens Inaugural Season May 20 on Road at Connecticut

LAS VEGAS (February 9, 2018) — The WNBA released the 2018 schedule for each of the league’s 12 teams, and Las Vegas will begin its inaugural campaign on the road with a two-game swing through Connecticut (Sunday, May 20 at 10 a.m. PDT) and Washington (Tuesday, May 22 at 4 p.m.). The Aces’ home opener at the Mandalay Bay Events Center is slated for Sunday, May 27 against the Seattle Storm at 5 p.m.
The defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx travel to Las Vegas for games Sunday, June 24 at 3 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. Last year’s runner-up, the Los Angeles Sparks, also make two trips to the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Friday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 15 at 3 p.m.
The Aces make their national television debut Friday, June 22 when they host the three-time defending Eastern Conference Champion New York Liberty. Tipoff on ESPN is scheduled for 7 p.m. Las Vegas also hosts New York on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.
The 2018 regular season concludes Sunday, Aug. 19 as the Aces host Atlanta at 3 p.m.

- Las Vegas is on the road for nine of its first 13 games.
- The Aces close out the schedule with four of five games at home.
- The team’s longest home stand is four games, June 22 through June 29.
- The Aces longest road trip is four games, June 10 through June 15.
- Las Vegas has two back-to-backs—at Seattle on May 31 and vs. Washington on June 1; at Indiana on June 12 and at New York on June 13.
