As reports from cases around the world are analyzed, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and other chronic health issues have emerged as particularly high risk factors.
A study by Dr. David L. Katz, medical doctor and preventative and public health expert found that 45% of Americans have at least one condition that is associated with a greater risk of severe infection from the coronavirus.
