Ho ho ho, it’s nearly Christmas and that means the silly season has begun. Parties, get togethers, Santa photos, we’re sure you’ve got invites for a few. So, when the invite says “fancy dress”, we’ve got some cracking Christmas costume ideas that are sure to create a bang.
Turn ho ho ho into ha ha ha
If you’re looking to add some humour to your outfit, there are some pretty funny outfits out there. There’s a Carry-on Elf costume, Wrapped Present outfit, or you can opt to multiply some chills in this inflatable Snowman outfit. But, if you just want to create a bit of Christmas cheer, there’s nothing more symbolic than wearing a Christmas Tree Dress.
Go straight to the top
There has to be at least one Santa Claus at the party, and if it’s going to be you, you’ll want to wear a Santa Suit. Choose from a classic or deluxe version of both, with an option for Mr or Mrs Claus plus all the accessories you’ll need.
Opt to be a little more helpful
So, the top spot’s been taken but that’s ok. You can opt to be more helpful and choose to become one of Santa’s little helpers – an elf. Whatever look you’re going for, there are a few styles of elf costumes to choose from; Jolly Elf, Workshop Elf, Cute Elf or Festive Elf are just a few. And, because you should always accessories any outfit, there are Adult Elf Shoes and Mini Elf Hats to add to any costume.
Be the one that delivers Christmas
Yes, the Clauses are the main characters but nothing would get delivered if it wasn’t for their four-legged friends. That’s why at least one reindeer is an important addition to any Christmas costume party. And luckily there are a few to choose from including Super Reindeer, Carry On Reindeer, Inflatable Carry on Reindeer or Cute Reindeer.
Think beyond St Nick
So, Christmas isn’t all about Santa Claus, Elves and Reindeers – there’s a more serious side to it as we know. But this is a party, so rather than being too serious about the serious side, you can opt to have a bit of fun with some religious outfits – The Holy Pope, Priest robe, Nun, Radiant Angel, Mary, Joseph, Jesus to name but a few.
Decorate the room
Christmas cheer is created through us being cheerful but also adding cheerful decorations to the room. Baubles, tinsel, lights, are all things we use to add colour and cheer. So, why not dress up as the Christmas cheer with a very Christmassy Christmas shirt or Christmas dress?
Be more naughty than nice
Now, these could be for the party or the after party, it’s entirely up to you. But if you’re more naughty than nice there are some saucy costumes available. Choose from a Cool Santa Suit, Santa Claus Skin Suit, Santa Claus Corset or Sparkle Sequins Mini Dress.
