The Integration of Soulmate Love

Relationships are difficult. They are wonderful, beautiful, awe-inspiring, disappointing, painful and often devastating. People contact me to discuss their connection to another person often stating that they have never felt this way before.  I often explain that they could be feeling the change of spiritual integration entering their soul from that of another.  How many times have you met someone and felt an instant attraction or connection only to have the relationship never evolve?  Or, you meet someone, and the soulmate dance begins of giddiness, shyness, goofy behavior from insecurities as well as the butterflies rumbling through the gut?  And, it can go on for years before it actually joins together as one unit between the two people.  Or, it won’t.  The love affair between Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn was probably one of the greatest love stories ever…but he never divorced his wife. 

I have worked with people in an unhappy marriage, staying for security, while madly in love with someone else, married or not.  Until both parties are legally and spiritually free from their respective situations, the blocks and obstacles are greater to overcome than just being in a relationship without the binds of physical and spiritual laws.

I explain it like being in a boxing rink.  The boxers are fighting, one is thrown against the bands circulating around the rink forcing the boxer to bounce back onto the floor; he can’t get out until the rounds of the game are over.

Similar holds true in karmic and twin relationships.  There are the bands around the rink preventing the true evolvement until one or both are ready.

We have three main levels of soulmates which include companion (friends, not sex), karmic which usually end up in a relationship and ultimately, the twin, the other side of ourselves; gender has no boundary when it comes to the soul.  Often, when we are thinking of someone they more than likely are thinking of us.  Yes, there is a telepathic connection but on a soulmate level, there is an even deeper meaning linking the heart and soul to one another. 

The soul and spiritual energy continues to travel between two people where there are past lives, angelic influences or karmic ties that many may not believe in or comprehend.  But, it is real. We walk along the path of life meeting many people we have known beyond the current incarnation of our existence; we often repeat the same mistakes or find ourselves in a relationship which has been ours before.

In relationships where non-communication exists and expressing of emotions builds up within us, the resentment and pressure becomes painful.  The repeating of scenarios and unspoken words becomes the reality in the mind, People have fears or assumptions which play out more vividly than the actual confrontation with the person of interest.  Fear of rejection seems to become more powerful than the action of talking and getting to know one another.

Many of my clients agree in the affirmative when I ask if they hear their person’s name in the mind like a mantra, or wake up at a certain time during the night thinking of him/her or even feel the intense sexual energy being exchanged, sometimes passionately on the astral level.  Yes, it is all real and we humans do connect beyond what we see physically.  Psychic energy is real; we are intuitive, we are not all psychic.  However, the astral plane, outside our physical bodies is real. We are energy; we feel it, hear it or watch for it.

I never understood the spiritual and metaphysical energies until I became serious about the field.  I became psychic on February 17, 1981 when I survived a plane crash.  After forty years helping people, I can explain that it's like sitting at the bottom of the pool holding your breath and looking up thru the water to see the sun shining; the spiritual world is out there above the water and the physical world is in the water.  Learning how to walk the physical and spiritual lives together as a whole is the goal.  

The fragments of the past, memories, flashback, resentments, unfinished communication, angry words or feelings of loss, regret and disconnect flood the mind while we are taught to pray, mediate and surrender.  Spiritual integration is a very long process but ultimately it is one of the goals of self-realization and healing.

Yes, we dream, sometimes so that we feel the presence of a loved one in our own dreams, working out our differences or saying things left undone.  There are thousands of ideologies and scientific assumptions as to what it all means, but as a spiritualist who was thrown into this work, I have discovered one of our keys to fulfilling relationships, family matters, jobs or whatever situation one may be in, boils down to the peace and acceptance of oneself over and beyond all else.  Lucid dreaming is the real appearance of someone who we are connecting with spiritually; they can be alive or deceased and still communicate with the lucid feeling of they were really here and they were…

We go through many relationships, some compatible, some not, Some for a day some for a life time.  People come and go, In the soulmate scenarios where client express how they feel, it is usually a deeper spiritual, past life, karmic connection than they may have with others on a daily basis.  Many people get close then one bolts, shuts down, walks away.  Then they return and the dance picks up again. This is called the runner/chaser concept of soulmates.  More times than not, I have helped walk people through their anxieties, fears, ups and downs only to see the relationship turn to a partnership and companionship when both were ready to see eye to eye and stop running.  Not all run/chase; some dive in and their love can last forever or, they burn out in 2 months, a few weeks after intense sexual passion or perhaps after just one night. The passion of course is not love.

Getting to know the person is love.  Love takes time. Trust. Communication. Compromise. Faith. Work. Acceptance.  Compatibility.  It’s not just lust.


People ask why he/she did or did not like them Or, what is he/she feeling about them? We all ask the same questions.  Sometimes the behavior of one has nothing to do with how we feel.  Just because the connection is there in one person, does not always ensure it is there for other.  But when that really deep, past life, spiritual connection awakens within two people, neither can run and hide forever.  It eventually works out, gets talked about or evolves into the love each person’s life beyond expectations.  True love on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level can exists.  But finding that gem among the stones is difficult.  Most people give up, give in, settle for less or accept their situation if they are not truly matched.

There are coaches, books, blogs, websites, online this and that on how to be, act, date, feel. When that love bug bites, the passion flares and the communication on some level needs to begin. We know the words but to actually do the work to ingrate, release, see outside you own box is the difficult part learning to connect with the universe is not as difficult as some may think.  When it is all in sync, activities and events, feelings and gratitude all start to align at once and move along like a domino effect.


Often, when communication is unresolved or not fully expressed, we can feel the tug or feeling of unfinished business with the person.   It is not always fair to one or both people. We know that open and honest communication is best.  We feel better and relieved getting our truth out.  Many people prefer to deny, ignore, walk away and in the digital age now, just hit ‘block’ and they’re done.  Without expressing their truth.  Some people find it easier to walk away, shut the door and move on.  To some it works, for others it is an act of cowardice behavior.

Regardless of which scenario best suits the reader for their current situation, the true dance is quite different and more recognizable than just the new person in one’s life.

Some settle, some fight, some wait.  Love is Life Openly and Vigorously Expressed (LOVE).  Again, it is communication, often starting with non-verbal leading to verbal.

The dance of hearts and souls have been going on since Adam and Eve.  It is not new.

It is, however, learning to distinguish between obsessive love and romantic love.  The heart will not lie; the mind does.  When mind, body, spirit align and the two souls reacquaint on their journey, the butterflies continue to flap their wings through it all true love wins in the end.

Dr. Linda was not born with the psychic gifts that have been her trademark, legend and inspiration to hundreds of thousands. In fact, she often jokes that had she not lived through all her traumas, accidents, incidents and transformations, she wouldn’t believe her story, either. Dr. Linda began her life immersed in the medical sciences, earning her Bachelor’s in Health Education from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Environmental Health from the University of Michigan. Prior to the series of accidents that changed the course of her life and spiritual progression, she served as an Industrial Hygienist for General Dynamics, creating and implementing a new industrial health program for 7100 employees at the Pomona aerospace facility.

Not long after Dr. Linda started her next job as an Environmental Health Specialist for an insurance company, she was aboard a commercial airliner that crashed at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, CA in 1981. She’d had a premonition of the exact spot the plane would crack in half; she felt 50 feet out of her body for at least four months. This surreal reality was the beginning of her redirected journey. After the plane crash, she was hit by a fire truck in 1982, and two years later,, she had an auto accident which brought her to the White Light and a choice to continue to ascend or to live and shift gears on earth. During her healing time after a major surgery in 1991, Dr. Linda discovered her healing abilities in dramatic fashion, applying the intense energy in her hands to the body of a woman with multiple personality disorder. When the woman reported that she had been completely healed, Dr. Linda began realizing her higher purpose. While on the rise as a radio personality a few years later, she had another surgery to remove 100 tumors from her hips and thighs. She was given the opportunity to connect with the other side to communicate and give closure to grieving people here on earth.
