Nurse

The unsung heroes of every hospital it is the nurses who keep everything ticking over and who are quite rightly considered the heartbeat of every hospital. A lot of a nurses work is not glamorous; it’s changing bedpans and dressing wounds and such like, but the reality is that the more senior you are as a nurse the more things you are able to do, and although it is not quite the same as being a doctor, the senior nurses do a lot of the first line triage and treatment of patients, leaving the fully qualified doctors to take care of the big stuff.

Therapists

Aside from the usual doctors, the medical industry is filled with countless health professionals. People like Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Audiologist and Physiotherapists all play very important roles in the broader medical fraternity.
